Meals
School meals are provided by the Surrey Commercial Services team. To find out more about this service, please click here.
KS1: All children in Reception, Years 1 and 2 are eligible for a free school meal, either hot or cold, through the Universal Infants Free School Meal scheme.
KS2: Children who are not having a school meal may bring in a packed lunch but this still needs to be recorded on the online system. Please note that sweets, chocolate, and fizzy or hot drinks are not allowed. As we have some children with an allergy please do not bring any food containing nuts into school.
Payment and orders for school meals must be made via scopay.com. Details of how to register are available from the School Office.
If you think you may be entitled to free school meals (eg you receive Income Support or other similar benefits), please have a word with a member of the school office. The matter will be treated in the strictest confidence. This applies whether your child is eligible for a free meal under the Universal Infants Free School Meal scheme or not, as it means the school receives additional funding. See the section on Pupil Premium for details of how this benefits the children.
Snacks
Free fruit and/or vegetables are made available at breaktime to children in Reception to Year 2, as part of a government initiative. Some fruit is also available (on a limited basis) for Years 3-6. Children may wish to bring in a piece of fruit from home if desired.
Children are also encouraged to bring in a bottle of drinking water as this helps to keep them hydrated and ready for learning.
Lunch Menu
School meals are free for all children in Reception, Years 1 and 2. This is through the Universal Free School Meal scheme.
The cost of a meal for Key Stage 2 children is £2.70 per day.
During the summer term, children who choose the sandwich or pasta options may be able to eat outside if the weather is fine.
The menu rotates every 3 weeks. This is emailed out to parents the week before.
Week 1 - 30/10, 20/11, 11/12, 15/01, 5/02, 4/03, 25/03
Week 2 - 6/11, 27/11, 1/01, 22/01, 19/02, 11/03
Week 3 - 13/11, 4/12, 8/01, 29/01, 26/02, 18/03
Please note that whilst every effort will be made to provide the meal specified, all are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
